I have to say, my favourite designer at the moment is Balmain. I love how the bold statement looks signify power, glamour and confidence.
Which designer has caught your eye this Spring/ Summer 2015?

We are a nation obsessed with taking pictures and ‘selfies’! I am totally crushing on this Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 camera at the moment! My friend was lucky enough to get one for Christmas and brought it to take loads of pictures over the New Year. It provides instant fun, takes the cutest polaroids that are ready in minutes and is available in five adorable colours! What more could you want?
It can be challenging to come across the perfect ‘look’ at this time of year. The high-street is overflowing with sale items and looks pretty bleak everywhere else. Sales being code for- ‘last season stock’. Don’t get me wrong- I love a good bargain and on the off chance I do see something in the sales racks, there is nothing more pleasing that paying half price for something you love! However, the majority of the time, I find myself trawling through numerous sales racks and being nothing but disappointed at seeing the pieces I paid FULL price for and then the rest being jumble. It’s not time yet to delve into that Spring/ Summer wardrobe you are dying to dig out. So you manage to find yourself in a somewhat fashion abyss.
If in doubt, I tend to keep it simple. As we are in-between seasons, it’s easier to rediscover the classics and make a simple canvas, upon which you can grow as the seasons change.
All I can say it TGIF- Thank god its Friday! What a long week it has been. It’s only the beginning of January and I feel like I need another holiday already. Work is uber stressy at the moment and I feel like my head is going to explode. Anyway, it’s Friday, so forget all about your problems and enjoy the weekend! It’s pay day at the end of the month and it can’t come quick enough! I have already got my eyes on some lovely new wardrobe additions, wild nights out and weekend breaks.
I bought myself these beauties for Christmas with some vouchers I got from work. I seem to have a thing for boots at the moment. You can never have enough shoes! I also want to be more adventurous with makeup too. I always used to stick to a pinky MAC colour lipstick as I know that suits me but I feel I’m missing out here. There are so many nice colours. I’m particularly liking red, brown and coral.
Anyway, stay classy and cheers to the freakin’ weekend people!!!
Peace and Love
xoxo

It’s that time of year again, where all girls set ridiculously hard goals to loose those extra pounds we put on over Xmas. Whether its hitting the gym hard, eating clean, going booze free or all of the above. Getting that beach body ready in time for summer, is all that dominates our minds. Personally, I could never cut out booze so, its just hitting the gym and attempting to eat clean for me lol.
Seriously though, I have been going to the gym for around a year now and I love doing the classes. My favourite class is Bokwa fitness, it’s not really a dance workout – there is no choreography and no counting steps. Participants draw letters and numbers with their feet, while moving together to music in free form rhythm. It makes me feel great and it’s a chance to meet new people too.
In terms of eating clean and detoxing… well, (cough) I use this term lightly. I have been cutting out bread, drinking plenty of water and green tea but, not so much anything else. I stick to porridge for breakfast, soup for lunch and pretty much anything I want for dinner. Making sure I get extra portions of fruit and veg! I feel better, not sure if it has made a real difference or not. But I’m guessing that is all that matters!
What are your goals for January? Let me know in the comments box!
